Wine in cans cheaper and better for the environment

Steel Packaging Related News:: "Shipping wine in cans produces only half the carbon emissions of wine packaged in glass bottles, and offers cost savings of up to 17 pence per litre, according to studies commissioned by canmaking company Rexam. UK-based consultancy Incept studied the space efficiency, environmental effects and carbon emissions of canned wine and wine in glass bottles."
