The Canmaker -: "David Hunt, managing director of CTC, said it is part of a move by customers towards the use of metal containers to convey a high-class image that plastics pouches cannot equal.
'Metal containers, with a recycling rate of 62 percent, help promote brands that have environmental concerns,' he said. 'Cans are much more recyclable than plastics, laminated pouches and multi-layer board containers,' he added. 'And the decision by Whittard is just another confirmation of this.'"
