www.cantechonline.com: "Impress has announced that it is to buy Megasa, one of Spain's leading providers of seafood cans, in a transaction which is expected to be completed in the first quarter of this year.
Based in Vilagarcia, on the Atlantic coast near Vigo, the factory employs around 150 people and produces steel cans for the tuna, sardine and shellfish markets in Galicia, home to Europe’s largest seafood processing industry. The acquisition complements the nearby Impress factory in Pontevedra, which produces aluminium seafood cans."
