Tata Tinplate net profit zooms for quarter ended Dec 2008.

Factiva: "Electrolytic tin plate manufacturer Tinplate Co of India Ltd has reported a 273% higher net profit at Rup 2.53 crores on 63.42% increase in sales at 94.24 crores for the quarter ended Dec 2008. The improved performance is attributed to fresh capacity addition and higher sales. The company's second electrolytic tinplate line of 200,000 tonnes commenced commercial production on 1 Oct 2008 (1 crore=10 M, 1 lakh=100,000)."
